THE TEAM
Author Annelies Reugebrink left the Netherlands and settled in Algarve in the early 80s. She grew along with the Algarve, watching and marvelling at its development first-hand. Her heart-felt desire to share her own hand-picked selection of local knowledge was the seed that grew into this beautiful book.
But ALGARVE ROCKS! is not hers alone; it is a joint effort by a dynamic, creative group, drawn together by friendship. Their joy and the boundless respect for the region they all call home led them to immediately embrace this unique project when Annelies was first considering it. With their input, the book soon started to take on an energetic life of its own, evolving into an enchanting reflection of the wonders of the place they love: the Algarve.
