ALGARVE ROCKS reserves the right to periodically update and amend its Privacy and Cookie Policy to reflect any changes in the way personal data of our customers is processed or in legal terms. ALGARVE ROCKS will display the latest and most current version of the Privacy and Cookies Policy and you are advised to check it periodically to ascertain any updates or changes.

The main purpose of this policy is to strengthen the relationship of trust and proximity between ALGARVE ROCKS and its customers. I. Customer registration or purchase 

 

When registering or purchasing at ALGARVE ROCKS, the following data is collected: e-mail, name, address, postcode, city, telephone and tax ID number. The data collected through the purchase process of the customer will be processed automatically and are intended for the processing of orders, including, for example, dispatching orders or issuing invoices. 

 

II. Newsletter 

 

When signing up for ALGARVE ROCKS’s newsletter, the following data is collected: name and e-mail address. 

 

III. Contact form 

 

ALGARVE ROCKS may also request personal data in contact forms, such as name, e-mail address and other information provided by the visitor. 

 

IV. Browsing on ALGARVE ROCKS 

 

Data related to browsing in the store is also collected at all times. Examples of this type of data are device and browser information, network information and IP address.

In order for the customer to be updated on order statuses or any news at ALGARVE ROCKS, we may send emails and/or SMS with commercial communications regarding offers, products or campaigns, as well as themed content and information on the processing of registered orders.

 

For marketing purposes, at ALGARVE ROCKS we may consider and use certain data, such as products viewed, products on a wish list or left in the abandoned basket.  

 

Marketing communications are made after and with the prior consent of the customer. 

 

In all cases ALGARVE ROCKS seeks to ensure that the information and data collected and used is fit for the purposes described and is not an invasion of the customer’s privacy.  

 

WHEN DO WE COLLECT THE DATA? 

 

Data is collected when a customer registers at ALGARVE ROCKS, signs up for the newsletter, fills in a contact form, registers an order or while browsing the store.  

 

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE THEM? 

 

The data subject has the right, at any time, to request access, rectification, opposition, export and/or deletion, as well as the right not to be subject to automated decisions.  

 

The customer can exercise any of these rights with ALGARVE ROCKS by email.. The customer may also lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD). 

 

DATA RETENTION 

 

ALGARVE ROCKS is obliged to retain information for tax purposes and audits in accordance with applicable law.  

 

Annelies Reugebrink stores your data for 5 years due to specific requirements and practices inherent to ALGARVE ROCKS and its industry sector, or until you request to have it deleted from the database.  

 

You may at any time request to access, rectify or delete your personal data by  email.

 

If the customer has registered with ALGARVE ROCKS, he or she can check, edit or delete his or her personal information at any time from the customer area at ALGARVE ROCKS.  

 

Upon request by the customer, ALGARVE ROCKS may change certain customer data associated with registered orders.  

 

 

DATA SHARING 

 

ALGARVE ROCKS does not give or sell any personal data to any entity other than those necessary for the operation of the service. Nor will personal data be used for any other purpose without the appropriate consent of the data subject.
